Melanthium virginicum Bunch Flower, features large round heads of vanilla-scented, creamy white flowers that bloom in late summer. Butterflies flock to the flowers. Whorled leaves around sturdy stems making the plant attractive in the landscape even when it is not blooming. This member of the Lily family is an elegant accent plant in the perennial garden with its large clusters of showy flowers blooming in May and June. zones 3 to 9, perennial, 3- 6 feet tall and likes full sun or light shade.
